About The Position
CRJ is seeking a motivated detail-oriented intern to support grant and foundation research efforts. This role offers hands-on experience with grant making, and strategic organizational sustainability. There may be opportunities to take on expanded responsibilities and gain exposure to additional aspects of nonprofit development and organizational operations during the course of the internship, based on organizational needs.
Requirements
- Current undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in nonprofit development, public policy, communications, social sciences, or a related field
- Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
- Interest in grants, philanthropy, and social impact
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Availability to work remotely for 10-15 hours per week for up to 16 weeks.

Responsibilities
- Research grant, sponsorship, and funding opportunities
- Assist with grant writing, proposals, and letters of inquiry
- Maintain records in CRJ’s grant tracking system, Instrumental
- Support grant reporting
- Attend weekly development meetings
- Assist with development projects as needed
