The Institute of International Education (IIE) is hiring a Grants & Finance Coordinator to support programs funded by the Defense Language and National Security Education Office (DLNSEO). The Grants and Finance Coordinator provides administrative support for language and culture focused programs including the Language Training Centers (LTC) and The Language Flagship. These programs are implemented in partnership with U.S. universities. The LTC program provides language and culture training for Department of War (DoW) personnel by leveraging existing university programs to meet the needs of DoW organizations and units. The Language Flagship creates the next generation of global professionals by developing superior language skills of undergraduates at partner universities. The Grants & Finance Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the program team to ensure IIE’s quality implementation of these impactful programs. The role includes administrative task support to the program team for the timely, accurate, and efficient management of grant awards and subcontracts, to include award agreement compilation, grant and vendor invoice payment processing, input and maintenance of CRM records and data management, the filing and tracking of deliverables, and analysis of additional program data. The Coordinator will work with other team members in the execution of tasks and day-to-day activities and communicate the status of activities on a regular basis with the program team and other relevant team members within IIE. Additional administrative responsibilities include general meeting support, and logistics coordination for high profile sponsor and partner events.
