DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Organize and keep an updated grant library and manual with key information for the organization on active and archived funding sources Compile and organize grant documentation for each active grant including but not limited to applications and contracts, budget amendments, progress reports, payment requests and receipts, and correspondence with funders. Compile and present grant documentation for site visits, monitoring, and audits Monitor grant implementation and funding usage closely with key program staff Submit or confirm submission of progress reports by the deadlines, ensuring compliance with grant requirements Submit payment invoices with appropriate documentation by the deadlines, ensuring compliance with grant expenditure allowability Review grant budgets regularly and communicate concerns or changes with key program staff including submitting any budget amendments as needed Participate in developing a funding strategy for the organization including demonstrating knowledge about federal, state, local, and private funding opportunities Create a prioritized list of projects and grants opportunities based upon communication with program and organizational leadership and participation in strategic planning discussions Develop and refine ideas for fundable grant proposals, including project design and implementation plans as well and project budgets in coordination with key staff Guide and support Grant Writer, including but not limited to facilitating weekly supervisions Build support for grant proposals and funding within the organization Attend staff meetings and activities as necessary to remain informed about program activities, challenges, and successes Provide resources and funding information to program leaders Communicate grant deadlines with appropriate staff Build support for grant proposals and funding outside of the organization Schedule and attend grant collaboration meetings with community partners Acquire appropriate evidence of support for grant applications and programs, i.e. Memorandum of Understanding, Letters of Support, etc. Facilitate site visits, monitoring, and audits Engage in partner and community events to represent the organization, such as County Commissioner and City Council meetings, company fundraisers, news reporting interviews, and the like Review grant applications prior to submission Proofread and edit Ensure required attachments are included Gather or provide appropriate signatures Communicate regularly and effectively with grant funders Monitor and report on the progress of grant applications and funding continuations to program and organizational leaders, including through monthly Board Reports Engage in professional development opportunities such as reading, classes, workshops, conferences, etc. Maintain strict confidentiality of staff, client, and organizational information and always abide by professional ethics.
