Georgia State University’s College of Education & Human Development is dedicated to community-grounded research in education, human development, and health-related fields. The college has attracted significant research funding from federal sponsors, foundations, and community partners and created several research and outreach clinics, centers, and labs to conduct research that addresses today’s most important educational issues. GSU ranks 11th nationally for research expenditures in the field of education according to the National Science Foundation's HERD survey and CEHD researchers brought in over $30 million in sponsored funding during Fiscal Year 2025. The Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP) support CEHD students, faculty and staff with pre-award and post-award activities and grant activities. Our pre-award staff serves as the initial point of contact for faculty when they are submitting proposals. Our post-award contracts serve as the primary contact for award management.
