About The Position

This position advances Saint Francis Healthcare System’s mission of healing, wellness, quality, and love, inspired by faith in Jesus Christ, by securing funding for strategic initiatives and partnerships. The role leads the full lifecycle of competitive, mission-aligned grant submissions, from identifying opportunities and developing proposals to managing compliance and reporting. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, the position also streamlines internal processes using tools such as templates, calendars, and submission supports. The ideal candidate has deep healthcare grant expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for impactful, community-centered care. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The minimum starting salary is $56,846 per year.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
At least four years of successful grant writing and management experience in healthcare, government, or major nonprofit settings required.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify grant opportunities and develop competitive, mission-aligned proposals.
