Performs highly advanced grant development, coordination, and administration work under the supervision of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Section Operations Director. Performs highly advanced MCH grant planning, implementation, and cooperative agreements. Reviews federal funding announcements to determine MCH section program eligibility for compliance with grant requirements and standards. Oversees internal and external partner work groups to coordinate MCH grant applications. Responsible for coordinating, tracking and reporting of grant-funded activities, and oversees the development and monitoring of all MCH grant-funded budgets. Monitors the implementation, management, evaluation, and closeout of all MCH section grants and grant budgets. The position requires professional and effective communication (written and verbal) and interaction with agency program staff, subcontractors, federal, state, and local officials, and other stakeholders. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
