BASIS Ed is seeking a Grant Development & Administration Specialist at our Scottsdale Central Office! The BASIS Ed Grant Development & Administration Specialist is primarily responsible for identifying, researching, and pursuing grant funding opportunities that support the organization's strategic initiatives and the needs of its schools. This role is responsible for assisting with the preparation and submission of federal, state, local, and private grant applications, as well as evaluating grant opportunities identified by schools to determine eligibility, feasibility, and alignment with organizational priorities. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Compliance team and other internal stakeholders to gather the information necessary to prepare accurate, competitive, and timely grant applications while ensuring compliance with applicable grant requirements. This position will also provide operational support to the Grants team during peak workload periods by assisting with grant draws, amendments, reporting, and other post-award activities to help ensure schools maximize available funding and maintain compliance with grant requirements. Experience working with IDEA Maintenance of Effort (MOE) requirements is preferred. This individual must be organized, detail oriented, have an aptitude for research, be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, with an emphasis on Excel, and have experience managing projects and grant lifecycles from inception to completion. Under the supervision of the Grants Manager, this team member will interact with various departments and all levels of management in the interest of achieving strategic objectives, securing and maximizing grant funding opportunities for the schools, and embodying the BASIS Ed philosophy and its value proposition.
