About The Position

Grammar School Art Teachers (K - 7th Grade) at The Ecclesial Schools are responsible for bringing the mission and vision to life each day by preparing engaging lessons and learning activities, cultivating a rich classroom atmosphere, building relationships with students and their parents, and committing to growing professionally as part of a faculty of friends. The focus of instructional time is on cultivating the soil of children’s moral imagination and teaching the liberal arts of math and language. Teachers have the opportunity to awaken children’s wonder and help them form habits of heart and mind that grow into wisdom and virtue. They care deeply about their students' spiritual formation and are missional about shaping and forming hearts and minds. Teachers attend morning prayer with their students and are eager to start the day with them in prayer. They must affirm the Statement of Faith and be actively involved in their church and Christian community.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a genuine love for God, children, and for learning.
  • Hold a BA or higher degree.
  • Bring 3-5 years of experience, ideally within a classical Christian school.
  • Have explored our website and resonate deeply with our christian faith, mission and vision.
  • Have prayerfully considered this opportunity and are ready to learn more about how we are removing financial barriers to excellent Christian education.
  • Affirm our Statement of Faith.
  • Be actively involved in their church and Christian community.
