About The Position

This grain operations position is based out of Upper Sandusky, OH and is responsible for record keeping and loading/unloading of trucks. The role involves operating safely within Kalmbach Feeds policy and procedures, providing a high level of customer service to grain customers, and being an involved/engaged team member willing to act and think independently. Key tasks include scaling trucks, tracking inbound/outbound loads, receiving grain from customers/farmers, and grading grain (with on-the-job training and certification through the ODA).

Requirements

• Ability to problem solve and make decisions as needed.
• Demonstrate self-starter and high initiative abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good Attendance Record & Work Ethic.
• Job will require a large degree of movement between computer, scale house, truck dump, and sampling station.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely within Kalmbach Feeds, policy, and procedures.
• Provide a high level of customer service by displaying courteous, helpful, knowledgeable interaction and behaviors with grain customers.
• Be an involved/engaged member of a team and be willing to act and think independently.
• Scale trucks and track inbound/outbound loads.
• Receive grain from customers/farmers.
• Grade grain (will be trained and certified on the job through the ODA).
