About The Position
Parrish & Heimbecker (P&H) is seeking a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated Grain Originator based in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. P&H is a family-owned and managed agri-business with over 115 years of history, operating across Canada with diverse operations including grain merchandising, flour milling, crop input distribution, and animal feed production. Requirements
- Experience in sales, with preference given to candidates with sales experience specific to the grain industry
- Strong sales techniques and negotiation strategies
- Exceptional customer service, relationship building and networking skills
- Proven ability to meet targets and close deals
- Available to travel periodically
- Microsoft 365 Application Suite (Word, high proficiency in Excel)
- Valid driver’s license

- Post-secondary education considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities with producers and dealers
- Negotiate contracts with producers and dealers on the purchase of grain
- First point of contact for purchasing and delivery of grain
- Meet with producers face to face to prospect for new business, nurture relationships, and collect grain samples
- Update producers on market information
- Review grain marketing programs
- Provide the P&H Merchandising team with grain market information from producers and dealers
