The Grain Operations Crewleader position is responsible for leading and performing operations tasks involving the receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging and shipping of grain. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience required
  • Demonstrated competence in all work areas of grain operations
  • Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver’s license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform all grain operations tasks required at the facility that contribute to customer service, grain movement/storage and general facility upkeep.
  • Assist with the coordination of all grain movement task at the facility.
  • Identify, monitor, and report safety and quality issues. Assist with identifying root cause and corrective action through the understanding of facility logistics, grain conditioning, and grain quality.
  • Assist with safety committee meetings and morning safety talks.
  • Train and onboard new operations workers.
  • Complete electronic data entry, reporting, documentation and correspondence to support operations.
  • Perform Supervisor responsibilities in the absence of the Supervisor.
