The position also manages staffing and employee development, reinforces customer service and safety, coordinates logistics and staffing plans with other departments, manages expenses, and assists with capital allocation and project development. The work may take place indoors or outdoors in heat, cold, wet, humid, dry, or arid conditions, and may involve dust, confined spaces, heights, railcars, barges, and deep or swift water. Travel for off-site training or work at alternate locations may be required, up to 20% depending on facility location. Extended hours, weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts may be needed.
