Requirements

  • No prior training or experience necessary!
  • Problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to accurately perform money, weight, measurement, volume, and distance calculations
  • Ability to carry out written and oral instructions
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to utilize distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, and work through interruptions
  • Ability to work in an environment where you may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, noisy equipment, extreme temperatures, fumes, wetness/humidity, and chemicals
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work out of the following locations: Flagler, Arriba, Genoa, Hugo, or Limon when needed

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operations of the grain facility to optimize market share and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee cleaning processes to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Meticulously record inspections.
  • Monitor temperature readings for quality control.
  • Assist clients while balancing equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
  • Grade incoming grain.
  • Prepare railcars.
