About The Position
The Lansing School District is seeking a Graduation Support Specialist for its Summer School program. This role will provide support to students during the summer school sessions, focusing on graduation readiness. The Lansing School District serves over 10,000 PreK-12 students across 25 school buildings in Lansing, MI, offering a variety of educational options. The district is committed to providing an excellent education in a safe and nurturing environment. This position is for two sessions: June 8-June 25 and July 6-July 30. The role involves 6.5 hours of instructional time per day, Monday through Thursday, for 8 weeks. The hours are 8:30 am to 2:00 pm.
Requirements
- Must be an internal applicant in the aligned bargaining unit (preference given).
- Availability for the full summer school duration (June 8-June 25 and July 6-July 30).
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday.
- Must complete the attached online application.
