Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Successful completion of EIT exam, or ability to take EIT exam within 12 months
  • Demonstrated interest in your chosen field through previous internships, volunteering opportunities, or organization memberships
  • Creative thinking skills, with a methodical and pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills to engage confidently with clients and colleagues
  • Resilient, solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous growth and delivering value
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborative spirit and commitment to teamwork

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the development of tunnel designs, including shafts, linings, and underground structures
  • Performing engineering calculations and support structural and geotechnical analysis
  • Develop and review engineering drawings using CAD and modeling tools
  • Support preparation of feasibility studies, technical reports, and design deliverables
  • Contributing to internal design reviews and QA/QC processes
  • Maintaining organized design documentation and records
  • Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, structural, civil)
  • Participating in internal project meetings and track actions
  • Support preparation of presentations and technical summaries
  • Building connections through our Early Career Professionals Network
