About The Position

This role focuses on business development and sales within the maintenance and repair welding products & service sector. The Graduate Trainee Engineer will be responsible for developing strategies to generate new business, executing sales plans, building client relationships, conducting market research, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and timely payments.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (or related field)
• Strong understanding of sales and business development principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct market research and analyse data.
• Proficiency in product knowledge related to welding and maintenance.
• Experience in reporting and presenting findings.
• Skills in payment collection and coordination with supply chain and production departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities and increase sales.
• Create and execute sales plans, including setting targets, developing promotional strategies, and coordinating with the sales team.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Identify and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the maintenance and repair welding products & service sector.
• Stay updated on the latest products and technologies in welding and maintenance and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
• Track sales performance, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
• Ensuring timely payment collection from direct business & through distributor.
• Coordinate with supply chain and production dept for drawings, jobs, stocks, and logistics.
