Graduate Technical Developer
About The Position
Bursting Silver is seeking applicants for their Graduate Technical Developer roles as part of the Accelerate Graduate Development Program for 2026. This program is designed to address future resourcing needs while providing growth and development opportunities for early-stage/entry-level candidates aiming for a career in Technical Development within the technology consulting and professional services industry. The program is an initial 1-year full-time contract with the potential for a permanent offer based on performance. Participants will work as Graduate Technical Developers, receive curated development in soft and hard skills, gain an understanding of the non-profit technology consulting industry, contribute to client projects, and be exposed to key technologies and methodologies like iMIS, development lifecycle, and implementation practices.
Requirements
- Graduated within the last 3 years (2023-2026) from a diploma level course or above
- Graduated from an ESDC accredited post-secondary institute (or international equivalent)
- Field of study was Technical, Software or Analytical focused
- No more than 2 years cumulative experience as a Technical/Software Developer (including co-op placements/internships)
- No more than 2 years’ professional experience in the last 3 years as a Technical Developer (for early career candidates exploring a change)
- Strong communication, analytical, and technical skills
- Passion for solving complex problems
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Discipline to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities
- Contributing to product development and web application builds
- Supporting AI configuration and integration activities
- Assisting in website design and front-end development
- Performing data migration and database query work
- Participating in testing, deployment, and ongoing code maintenance
- Preparing technical documentation and solution components
- Supporting development workstreams, project timelines, and team communication
- Participating in professional development and certification opportunities
