About The Position

With the guidance of one or more staff or faculty members, perform a mixture of services in support of communication, technology, business operations or student affairs activities as more than 50% of their service. The Staff Graduate Assistant receives a stipend and tuition waiver subject to federal tax. Assist in developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating developmentally appropriate classroom activities for a specific age group of young children. Assist in supervising, training, and evaluating student staff.

Requirements

Ability to work up to 20 hours per week.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Admission and enrollment in a graduate program.
Maintenance of a 67% course completion.
Enrollment in at least 6 credits for Fall and Winter semesters.

Responsibilities

Assist in the support of the affairs of a program, department, office and/or curriculum.
Other departmental-related duties as required.
Assist in developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating developmentally appropriate classroom activities for a specific age group of young children.
Assist in supervising, training, and evaluating student staff.
