About The Position
The Grainger Lab at Van Andel Institute (VAI) is seeking a Graduate Student Intern for approximately 25 hours per week during the Fall and Winter Semester. The lab's research focuses on how Wnt signaling and metabolism impact hematopoietic stem cell development and cancer. The work involves in vitro assays, mammalian cell lines, and zebrafish models.
Requirements
- Master's student in cellular and molecular biology.
- Internally motivated and curious.
- Available to start September 8.
- Internship end date will be April 30.
- Ability to work 25 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in the Grainger Lab focusing on Wnt signaling and metabolism in hematopoietic stem cell development and cancer.
- Perform in vitro assays, work with mammalian cell lines, and utilize zebrafish models.
- Contribute to scientific discovery and potentially co-author publications.
Benefits
