About The Position

The Department of Microbial Infection and Immunity is seeking a Graduate Research Associate to conduct research under the guidance of a scientific mentor. This role involves performing complex laboratory techniques, generating hypotheses, designing experiments, and recording results. The associate will assist with collecting, analyzing, and compiling research data, maintaining records, supplies, and equipment. Responsibilities also include assisting with the preparation of publications and grant applications, attending seminars, and presenting data at scientific meetings. The position involves participation in journal clubs, laboratory meetings, and Department seminars and activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in biological sciences
• Requires successful completion of a background check
• Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen
