This role involves direct patient care, providing healthcare information to patients and families, and following an established plan of care under the delegation and supervision of a licensed professional. Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
  • LIC-Licensed Practical Nurse - Tennessee
  • Relevant Work Experience
  • Less than 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with patients/families and health care providers in the delivery of health care services.
  • Partners with the healthcare team by following established plan of care to ensure patient progress for effective outcomes.
  • Supports plans to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
  • Performs nursing interventions such as wound care, point of care testing, and vital signs.
  • Provides patient education.
  • Assists in the development of the plan of care in consultation with the licensed healthcare team.
  • Documents clinical patient information.
  • Performs clearly defined tasks and methods described in detail to achieve standardized solutions that impact own performance with regular guidance.
  • Follows a well-established process to solve routine problems where solutions are clearly prescribed.
  • Contributes to the team individually.
  • Serves others with compassion, investing time to understand their problems and needs.
  • Solves routine problems and raises proper concerns in a timely manner.
  • Listens carefully to understand issues and provides accurate information and support.
  • Checks work quality before delivery and asks relevant questions to meet quality standards.
  • Shows eagerness to learn new knowledge, technologies, tools, or systems and displays willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of conditions that affect safety and reports unsafe conditions.
