About The Position

The GPN – Graduate Practical Nurse works under the supervision of the Director. The GPN – Graduate Practical Nurse under the direction of the RN and/or Provider. Administers quality patient care according to established standards. May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patients. Provides exceptional service to all patients and customers.The Graduate Practical Nurse position is time limited. A person may remain in the Graduate Practical Nurse position until one of the following occurs: 1) They become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in their designated working state OR 2) They receive a failing score on the nurse licensure exam and are moved to another position in which they qualify.
