Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Graduate Nurse. We’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.
Requirements
- Graduation from NLN accredited school of nursing.
- BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous acute care and unit – specific experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that his/her attitude and actions are always consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Covenant and the commitment to Keeping our Promise of Caring.
- Responsible and accountable for assisting the patient to move safely and effectively through the hospitalization.
- Primary responsibilities include leadership, direction, and feedback to care team members; assessment, collaboration, and coordination regarding plan of care; patient and family education; pain management; patient safety; and planning for patient discharge under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse mentor.
- Is a temporary status pending Registered Nurse licensure and successful completion of the Michigan Registered Nurse Board examination within 45 days of hire or as soon as a test date can be scheduled.
- Retention following the failure of the State Boards will be at the Manager’s discretion.
- A failed RN Board exam must be repeated as soon after the 90-day waiting period as possible.
