Requirements

• Eligible to sit for nursing boards
• Must successfully complete RN Residency.
• Must obtain a Missouri Registered Nurse License or Registered Nurse License from a compact state within ninety (90) days after graduation or thirty (30) days after passing the NCLEX exam in a state other than Missouri.
• If obtaining a compact license it must be held in the registered nurse's state of residence.
• Must successfully pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) within 30 days of hire.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
• RN Competency Day Annually by transcript due date.
• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state.
• If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of professional RNs, systematically and continually assesses the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.
