About The Position

MidState Medical Center is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Med Surg units across multiple hours and shifts. At MidState Medical Center we don’t just take great care of our patients; we take great care of our Registered Nurses too. Our Med Surg Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices. We offer our Registered Nurses clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as you complete your Med Surg Nurse Residency.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices.
• Complete your Med Surg Nurse Residency.
