The University of Wisconsin Department of Pediatrics is seeking a collaborative Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Manager to join the pediatrics residency program. In this key role, the successful candidate will oversee the strategic and administrative success of the training program, serving as a primary liaison between the Program Director, residents, teaching faculty, the institutional GME office, and external accrediting bodies. Working alongside a dedicated leadership team, including the Program Director, GME Administrator, GME Coordinator, Program Assistant, and Chief Residents, the Manager coordinates critical initiatives across program accreditation, recruitment, curriculum development, scheduling, financial management, and trainee administration. Drawing on an institutional knowledge of GME principles, this individual will manage day-to-day operations while recommending and implementing process improvements. Supervising a team of 2.0 FTE direct reports, the GME Manager will ensure seamless administrative workflows and help maintain high educational and quality standards in pediatric residency training. This position functions under the general supervision of the GME Program Administrator, while working in close consultation and collaboration with the Program Director, the Director of Graduate Medical Education, and the Designated Institutional Official (DIO). This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
