About The Position

Our Graduate Management Trainee (GMT) Program is an important pipeline for unleashing potential and developing future leaders. We look for great people with the potential to deliver with excellence and have a long-term impact on our company! The GMT program offers a 10-month rotational experience designed to immerse you in various facets, providing hands-on experiences across our core business areas. As you progress, you’ll rotate through our front-line Brewery, Sales, and Logistics teams, gaining exposure to different operational sites, including, brewery locations, warehouse facilities, our Toronto headquarters, and other localized sites. Each rotation includes immersive job shadowing where you’ll learn about specific programs and processes, while working on strategic business projects to prepare you for your first placement. Following the program, you will continue to build your Labatt journey with placement typically in a Frontline Sales or Supply Chain team, based on your interests and business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sciences or a related field.
  • Must have graduated from an undergraduate degree in the last 2 years; 2025, 2026 or anticipated graduation no later than September 2027.
  • Must be mobile and open to relocation to experience different functions and locations across Canada.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.

  • Previous internship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience across core business areas through a 10-month rotational program.
  • Rotate through front-line Brewery, Sales, and Logistics teams.
  • Gain exposure to different operational sites including breweries, warehouses, and headquarters.
  • Participate in immersive job shadowing to learn specific programs and processes.
  • Work on strategic business projects.
  • Prepare for first placement in a Frontline Sales or Supply Chain team.
  • Participate in a one-week Labatt onboarding at Toronto Headquarters.
  • Participate in a one-week Global onboarding in St. Louis, MO.
  • Engage in experiential learning opportunities, such as becoming a Cicerone (certified beer expert).
  • Attend a 2-day immersive leadership development training.
  • Gain exposure to senior leadership, including Labatt’s President, through networking and presentations.
  • Participate in new graduate specific events and activities.
  • Take ownership of actions, collaborate continuously, act as a problem-solver, and move with speed.
  • Dream big and work hard to become a future leader.
  • Take on new challenges in new places, anticipating moves throughout their first year.
  • Work in front-line roles in different types of settings (e.g., field office, brewery).
