About The Position

Aguirre & Fields is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join their Oklahoma City team! This is an opportunity to launch your engineering career as an Engineer in Training. In this role, you will work alongside experienced professional engineers on meaningful infrastructure projects that help communities grow and flourish. You will build practical technical skills, gain exposure to professional engineering standards, and develop the experience needed for future professional licensure. The preferred location for this role is in our Austin, TX office, but we are open to Sugar Land or Fort Worth.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
• Relevant technology or software experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity, dependability, and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support professional engineers on transportation, public works, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates under close supervision.
• Apply standard engineering methods, procedures, and criteria to assigned tasks.
• Learn from experienced mentors while building the foundation for professional licensure.
• Collaborate with project teams and contribute to a culture of integrity, innovation, and excellence.
