As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to work from our San Diego, CA office. This position offers great variety of projects and the opportunity to be an Electrical Engineer and deliver projects and help grow an existing practice. You will deliver electrical projects under our local government and U.S. Federal Sector contracts. Experience in projects focused around power transmission and distribution, solar PV, battery storage, telecommunications, water/wastewater and buildings/facilities. Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar degree.
• 0-2 years of experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Engineering program

Nice To Haves

• Experience in projects focused around power transmission and distribution, solar PV, battery storage, telecommunications, water/wastewater and buildings/facilities.

Responsibilities

• Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice.
• Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards.
• Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products.
• Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
• Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
• Contribute to the design of engineering solutions; design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation to support the development and validation of engineering solutions.
