About The Position

St George's International School, Switzerland, is seeking a Graduate Assistant for its Boarding department. The role works as part of a team to ensure the safety and well-being of students in the boarding house and to maintain the school's positive ethos and core values. The school is co-educational and serves students from about 60 nationalities. The successful candidate will be passionate about children and teenagers and committed to excellence, continuous improvement, and inspiring and enthusing students. Duties are not limited to the listed responsibilities and may be extended or changed to include other tasks commensurate with the role, as directed by Senior Management. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Requirements

Experience working with young people.
IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
Educated to degree level.
Appropriate right to work in Switzerland.
Driving licence.
English speaker at C2 level.
Ability to understand and enjoy multiculturalism.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a team to ensure the safety and well-being of students in the boarding house.
Support the team in ensuring the smooth running of the boarding house.
Assist with extracurricular activities.
Play an active role in the weekend activity programme.
Support students during study time.
Help with airport transfers at key times of the term.
Undertake other reasonable duties requested by the school.
