About The Position

The Graduate Assistant for the Men’s Basketball program works under the direction of the head coach and assists with the administration of a successful Division III athletic program. Responsibilities include coaching, recruiting, instructing, advising, counseling, and other administrative duties as assigned by the head coach or Athletic Director.
Requirements
- Must be currently accepted in a Master program at Albertus Magnus College in one of the following areas: Accounting (only two spots available), Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Management and Organizational Leadership, Healthcare Administration (only two spots available).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in [Microsoft Office/Google Workspace].
- Previous experience at the collegiate, club, and/or scholastic levels as a student-athlete and/or coach.
- Knowledge of collegiate rules and a demonstrated compliance with said rules.
- Relevant work experience may be substituted to meet qualifications for the position.

Responsibilities
- Assist with practice and game preparation including video breakdown.
- Assist in monitoring academic progress of team members in all areas.
