About The Position

The Department of Public Health at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Graduate Assistant Pool. We welcome applications from current CSUF graduate students to assist with teaching, research, and/or program planning and coordination. This is a pool of part-time graduate assistants for the department to draw on as necessary. Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants may be offered employment on very short notice.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field or equivalent experience.
• Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students
• Ability to build strong and positive relationships with students.
• Maturity, respect for students, and ability to listen with patience and have an open mind.
• Must have a minimum cumulative graduate grade point average of 3.0.
• Must be currently enrolled in the Master of Public Health graduate program.
