The University Libraries is looking for a Library Program Specialist GA position to help support open educational resources, along with other instructional areas. The Libraries lead efforts to promote open educational resources on campus, including administering a grant program for faculty and providing oversight of Pressbooks, an authoring and editing platform for open textbooks. Open educational resources, freely available teaching materials that are also licensed for reuse, help to keep college education more affordable. The position, which is part of the Research and Instructional Services Department in the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center, will provide support in other areas of instruction as well, such as with dual enrollment classes and AI literacy education. This appointment is for 20 hours/week for 10 months, from August through May. This position is approximately equivalent to teaching two face-to-face courses per semester.
