About The Position

This is a regular student labor position which serves as Graduate Assistant for Men’s Basketball within the Athletics Department. This position requires heavy, physical and/or manual labor. Duties may require but are not limited to moving furniture or equipment and/or helping with preventative maintenance. Hours per Week Up to 20 hours per week. Occasional nights and weekends are required during Basketball season.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Experience working in groups and independently as part of a group.
• Basic knowledge of basketball skills and development that can be built upon.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Great organizational skills.
• Strong desire to learn.
• Dependable.
• Punctual.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with a basketball team in the past preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with maintaining/cleaning floors and locker room.
• Manage the basketball team’s equipment.
• Break down individual and team film.
• Do individual workouts.
• May additionally assist staff with basic office responsibilities as needed.
