About The Position
Student graduate assistants will assist graduate Biomedical Sciences faculty in labs as Teaching Assistants and/or be responsible for offering tutoring sessions for the following courses: Histology, Gross Anatomy, and Human Physiology.
Requirements
- BS in Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent degree from accredited institutions.
- Must have completed graduate-level Human Physiology, Gross Anatomy, and Histology lecture and labs courses with an “A.”
- Some experience working with the Anatomage table.
- Basic knowledge of learning management systems such as Examsoft and Canvas.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written.
Responsibilities
- Assisting students during lab
- Assisting the instructor in setting up and cleaning up the lab
- Tutoring students outside of the lab
- Proctor lab exams
- Electronic communication with students and prospective students.
