About The Position

The Baseball Graduate Assistant will assist the baseball staff in providing ethical leadership in managing all aspects of competitive NCAA Division I Baseball program including, but not limited to, recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes and preparing student-athletes for success through practice planning, strategy development, and skill instruction. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Regular admission to a UA Little Rock graduate degree program or good standing with the UA Little Rock Graduate School for continuing graduate students
  • Ability to work the required hours (FT-50% - 20 hours per week/PT-25% - 10 hours per week) with regular attendance

  • Tracking their student-athletes academic progress
  • Maintaining appropriate records and paperwork
  • Ensuring compliance with all university, Ohio Valley Conference, and NCAA policies, rules, and regulations
  • Assist with practice planning
