About The Position

Franklin Pierce University, a member of NCAA Division II and the Northeast-10 Conference, is seeking a motivated and energetic individual for the position of Graduate Assistant Coach for Women's Basketball. This two-year position begins in June 2026 and includes tuition remission and a monthly stipend. The role involves supporting all aspects of the Women's Basketball team's operations, including recruiting, coaching, practice planning, academic monitoring, video breakdown, and student-athlete development. Additional duties include coordinating travel, supporting training/conditioning, and administrative tasks.

Requirements

Previous playing experience.
Bachelor's degree required.
Acceptance into a Franklin Pierce University graduate program (required prior to start).
Strong communication, leadership, detailed-oriented, and organizational skills.
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Assisting with all aspects of team operations, including recruiting, coaching, practice planning, academic monitoring, video breakdown, and student-athlete development.
Coordinating team travel.
Supporting off-season and in-season training/conditioning efforts.
Handling various administrative duties as assigned by the head coach.
