About The Position

Graduate Ambassadors serve as the front-line of customer service for all prospective students and families. These students maintain a thorough knowledge of the university and will develop professional skills in communication, time management, and personal responsibility. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is responsible for recruiting and enrolling freshmen, transfer, and re-admit students.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required

  • Ability to provide unmatched customer service to HPU guests
  • Ability to communicate in a positive manner
  • Ability to focus on details and prioritize
  • Ability to work special events which may include evenings and/or weekends
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products and general current technology

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with members of the Admissions team
  • Provides a consistent tour experience for Admissions guests 2-5 times on average per week based on availability
  • Assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere on campus during admissions events and daily tours
  • Provides comprehensive customer service to exceed visitors’ expectations
  • Maintains positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with co-workers, supervisors and other members of the HPU Community
  • Other duties as assigned
