About The Position

SOCOTEC is seeking G-A or G-B approved Grading Inspectors for immediate openings in Las Vegas, Nevada. The role performs field testing and inspections for construction, soils, soil sampling, concrete, and other materials; conducts applicable standard test methods; collects field information and prepares daily electronic activity reports; and communicates with the Project Manager about field operations. The position is full-time and in-office, with the possibility of one remote or hybrid day.

Requirements

Soils field testing experience.
Current radiation user safety certificate.
Knowledge of standard test methods for field density testing of soil utility backfill, mass grading, and paving subgrade.
Proof-rolling observation experience.
Approval by Clark County as a G-A or G-B Grading Inspector.
Excellent mathematical, computer, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Positive attitude, good organizational skills, and strong work ethic.
Current, valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Other Clark County approvals are a plus, but not required.
NAQTC certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities
