About The Position

Knife River is seeking a Grading Foreman to oversee all aspects of Grading operations. This is a full-time seasonal position that requires travel and the ability to work in extreme weather conditions. The role involves ensuring safety and quality measures are met, coordinating with subcontractors and other teams, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 3 + years of proven Grading experience
• Supervisory and Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of all grading and paving equipment and operations
• Valid Montana driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong commitment to quality, safety and customer satisfaction
• Reading and understanding plans
• Know how to set up and run GPS systems
• Finish blading with GPS controls

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of Grading operations
• Assure that all safety and quality measures are taken
• Coordinate with others including subcontractors, trucking and plant
• Perform other duties as assigned
