About The Position

McGill University's Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education is hiring one Grader for EDKP 253 KPE W27 – Movement Education. The position is for 40 hours over the term, at $17.75 per hour. Course dates are January 5, 2027 to April 14, 2027, and appointment dates are January 4, 2027 to April 30, 2027. The role is supervised by Jessica Mocella, Faculty Lecturer.

Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in Quebec at the campus where the position is based. McGill is an English-language university, and English verbal and written communication is required.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, physical and health education, or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of the grading process.
• Willingness to learn new movement topics, including dance and gymnastics, and enthusiasm for the subject matter.
• Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec at the campus where the position is based.
• English verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Some knowledge of gymnastics and/or dance.
• Understanding of the Quebec Education Plan (QEP).

Responsibilities

• Grade midterm and final tests.
• Grade weekly assignments and projects.
