About The Position
The Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority (ADEA) is seeking a full-time permanent Grade 9 Teacher for Father Porte Memorial Dene School (FPMDS) in Black Lake, Saskatchewan. FPMDS is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school serving over 300 students. This position offers the chance to contribute to student achievement, foster a strong school community, and promote education rooted in Denesuline culture and community values. The Teacher will report to the Principal and/or Vice Principal and is responsible for providing high-quality instruction, supporting school improvement, collaborating with colleagues, and engaging in professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Related experience, including work with First Nations students in a remote community, is an asset.
