About The Position

This is a term position for a Grade 3/4 Teacher at the Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education. The role is 100% effective from August 1st, 2026, to March 5th, 2027, with a 0.62 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE). Terms and conditions of employment, including wages, are in accordance with the Nova Scotia Teachers' Provincial Agreement. The posting closes at midnight on August 14th, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction within the framework established by the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development
• Implement strategies, activities, and techniques for promoting student learning based on each student’s prior knowledge, skills, and learning needs
• Demonstrate best practices in assessment to determine next steps
• Attend and actively engage in meetings and ongoing professional development
• Maintain and submit all records in online systems and other communication avenues
