Grade 2 Teacher (Non Continuing | For the 2026-27 SY only)
About The Position
This is a Grade 2 Teacher position for the 2026-27 school year only. Employment with Ridgefield School District is conditional on an approved criminal background clearance, drug/alcohol screening, and completion of an Employment Eligibility Verification form (USCIS Form I-9). Continued employment requires compliance with all District policies and procedures, Code of Professional Conduct, and applicable laws. Expectations include maintaining consistent presence, regular work hours, punctuality, regular attendance, maintaining required certifications, completing annual training, and obtaining or maintaining a CPR and First Aid Card if required.
Requirements
- Approved criminal background clearance through OSPI, Washington State Patrol, and/or Federal Bureau of Investigation
- Drug/Alcohol screening
- Completion of an Employment Eligibility Verification form (USCIS Form I-9) presenting proof of identity and employment authorization status
- Completion of all district-required training within sixty (60) calendar days from hire date
- Compliance with all District policies and procedures
- Compliance with Code of Professional Conduct
- Compliance with all applicable state and federal laws
Responsibilities
