About The Position

This is a 0.50 FTE contract position for a Grade 2 Teacher at Upper Miramichi Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants will be contacted by the school's principal and/or Director of Schools to discuss the position details and any available transitional support. Offers of employment will be made in accordance with Article 61.03 and 61.05 of the Collective Agreement, prioritizing teachers with recall rights, then certified teachers without recall rights, and finally supply teachers with a Local Permit.

Requirements

• Certified Teacher status.
• Adherence to Article 61.03 and 61.05 of the Collective Agreement.
• Ability to provide a cover letter, resume, most recent performance review, transcripts, and 3 references (one being the most recent supervisor) in a single PDF document.
