About The Position

City Market Co-Op is seeking a Grab & Go Coordinator to oversee our Grab & Go cases, which feature in-house and vendor-produced customer favorites! This role involves shaping the future of City Market Co-Op by providing a wide variety of local, organic, and conventional products at a fair price. It's an opportunity to work for a community-owned business and play an active role in our vibrant local food system.

Requirements

One year of kitchen experience OR two years of deli/food service experience required.
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ServSafe certification preferred.
Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful.

Responsibilities

Coordinating the procurement and merchandising of all house-produced packaged, vendor-produced, and related items.
Ensuring the Grab & Go cases (and surrounding areas) are well stocked, maintained and cleaned.
Communicating with vendors and other departments to ensure optimum stock levels of all Grab & Go and related items.
Assisting the Prepared Foods Manager in the filing of invoices and return vouchers.
Compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security.
May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
