About The Position

This internship provides an opportunity for a student to work with the Director of GPS and other office leaders to examine opportunities to better present services to Belmont students. The role involves enhancing information, awareness, and connection to professional staff through various channels. This includes work with University web pages, SSF web pages, and partner web pages (e.g., orientation, advising, academic support). The intern will also review past social media efforts and develop a plan to enhance the current presence to meet Belmont student needs. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with professional and student staff on a plan to develop content that is informational and meaningful to Belmont students and families, and exploring additional opportunities to better connect with and serve Belmont students.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University.
  • Seeking degree in or previous experience related to Public Relations.

  • Knowledge of Belmont student organization structure is helpful.
