About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a GPO Account Executive to join their VHPC Acute Account Executive Team. This role involves providing high-touch service to members, driving contract penetration, and implementing supply chain solutions. The Account Executive will identify savings opportunities within the supply chain, increase client utilization of supply chain contracts and programs, and recommend products and solutions. This sales-driven role focuses on maximizing a hands-on approach to drive value and cost savings initiatives through current member relationships. The Client Manager will leverage contracting and data analytics to provide additional value and support beyond the group purchasing organization (GPO) channel, with occasional support from analytics resources.

Responsibilities

Services current VHPC members
Maintain activity through Salesforce/CRM
Supports mostly smaller members that are often <100 beds
Serve as a liaison for the account and are responsible to support sales and service
Develop strategic partnerships on innovative and market-leading contracts, tools, and solutions
Develop member account plans, which drive growth in the business partnership by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing high value projects, and delivering strong support and customer service
Utilize tools, knowledge, and expertise to implement cost saving methods to positively influence member results
Align strategic account needs with solutions and alternatives to drive growth, value, and revenue
