The Genentech Patient Foundation (GPF) Compliance Manager will act as a guardian of GPF’s independent, non-profit 501c3 status, shaping, leading, and executing key elements of the Foundation Audit and Compliance Program. This role involves owning the planning, execution, and delivery of complex compliance audits and compliance monitoring initiatives to ensure non-profit integrity and sustainability. The manager will leverage technology, digital solutions, and automations to streamline audit activities and day-to-day inquiries. Responsibilities include providing compliance oversight of corrective action plans, auditing activities conducted by Forms Validity SMEs and Foundation Navigators, and monitoring outsourced programs. The role requires partnering cross-functionally with Legal, Healthcare Compliance Office (HCO), Patient Experience, and Field teams to mitigate operational risks and investigate compliance concerns. Additionally, the manager will own, review, and simplify process documents (SOPs, policies), architect and drive the GPF training strategy, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Compliance for Foundation Specialists in designated domains such as Patient Assistance Diversion, CMS Reporting, and Product Billing Remediations. The role also involves leading informal cross-functional teams to foster a compliance mindset and coaching Foundation Navigators and internal stakeholder teams to heighten compliance awareness while protecting the independent nature and sustainability of the Foundation program.
