Requirements

Terminal degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
Licensed as Psychological Associate or Psychologist in DC.
Prior experience teaching (TA accepted).
Evidence of strong writing skills.
Evidence of strong clinical skills (APA accredited internship preferred).
Use of Qualtrics, Canvas, Microsoft Office Suites, and SPSS.
Strong background and interest in substance abuse research and treatment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate speakers for our professional development/didactic seminars
Create and update curriculum to include substance abuse training.
Advise students and ensure they are obtaining correct hours on their practicum sites.
Create and collect measures for annual grant reporting.
Serve as a teacher’s assistant for practicum, externship, and psychopathology courses.
Coordinate and communicate with substance abuse community stakeholders.
Assist with grant activities as needed.
Collaborate with faculty and community stakeholders for program improvement.
Work closely with other university, college, and division faculty and professionals
Work collaboratively with faculty, students, and community stakeholders
Participate in grant governance with other staff and students.
Create flyers, graphics, and social media postings.
Additional duties may be required as needed for grant administration.
